History

Neappoli Inc. is a software company, founded in 2018, with the goal of improving communities and engaging their residents.

With a few taps, Neappoli app users can quickly and easily report problems in their neighbourhood, saving time from having to phone the city directly. This helps to foster better relationships between cities and their residents.

The company does not charge its users and does not monetize personal data. For more information, please see the Support Us page.

Neappoli's head office is located in Canada's beautiful capital - Ottawa, Ontario.

Improving Communities and Engaging Residents

Neappoli is a mobile platform (available on iOS and Android devices) that allows citizens to conveniently submit 311(non-urgent) city issues.

The idea behind Neappoli was brought to life when it won the social impact category at the University of Ottawa's Startup Weekend in late 2016.

After lots of planning, coding and coffee, Neappoli Inc. was officially founded in June 2018 at the heart of the University of Ottawa by two alumni and tech enthusiasts, wishing to fulfill their social duties. The company then distinguished itself in a number of entrepreneurship competitions, winning several awards.

In January 2019, Neappoli announced their plans to begin using the Flutter framework to revamp its app. For more information about Flutter and its impact on the company, please read this Neappoli blog post.

Founded in June 2018
